Teaching residency
Through the at Green Dot Public Schools, program participants will maximize impact by earning a preliminary teaching credential and Master of Curriculum and Instruction in the content areas of math, English, science or Spanish; receive financial support through a $24,000 living stipend and qualifying for the TEACH Grant; and accelerate professional growth by being paired with an experienced teacher who provides coaching, hands-on experience and instructional guidance.
Project REAL residents will also receive the following benefits:
- medical plans: You have five plans to choose from or waive coverage.
- dental plans: You have three plans to choose from or waive coverage.
- vision plan: You may enroll or waive coverage.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs): Choose a healthcare FSA, a dependent care FSA or both. Use your accounts to pay eligible expenses with tax-free money.
