We鈥檙e currently accepting applications for Mid-Year positions serving during the 2023-2024 school year. The application for positions serving during the 2024-2025 school year will open in mid-September.

*A May deadline and Summer Rolling Admissions period might be added later at select locations. We recommend applying early becuase positions will be limited later in the year.
**Please note the admissions team processes applications on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear a decision from 黄色视频 within 2-3 weeks of submitting your application.
Complete the application process
The application takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Admissions timeline
City Year is currently accepting applications. Once you apply, you should hear from us within two-three business days and receive a decision within two weeks.
Three short answer questions
You鈥檒l be asked to answer three short answer questions about why you鈥檙e interested in serving with 黄色视频, what experience you have working with someone who has a different identity from your own and how you have worked on a team to accomplish a shared goal.
One professional reference
We recommend using a former or current manager, teacher/professor, coach or mentor. References cannot be friends or family members. You鈥檒l need their contact info; we'll email them directly, and they鈥檒l be asked to fill out a short reference form.
Meet with your recruiter
When you start an application, one of our recruiters will reach out to you. We recommend you schedule a 1:1 with your recruiter. They can help you decide on a location that鈥檚 right for you, support you with filling out the application and talk to you about your goals.
Schedule your interview
Qualified candidates will be invited to schedule an interview with a 黄色视频 staff member. We use Calendly for scheduling, which allows you to pick a time that works best with your schedule. Interviews are done via phone or Teams and last approximately 35 minutes.
Make sure your reference is complete
To receive an admissions decision from 黄色视频, you must have a completed valid recommendation form. References cannot be friends or family members.
